Writer, speaker, and community leader, Meridith O'Connor is a health and wellness advocate dedicated to informing others about the patient voice and the value that lies within patient engagement. The 27-year old St. Louisan began her advocacy journey when she was diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis, a rare neuromuscular disorder at the young age of 13, and has utilized her experience with chronic illness to educate, engage and empower others. Whether working on an individual, communal or global level, Meridith provides her personal and professional expertise within the health nonprofit sector and healthcare industry to inspire greater awareness, productive dialogue, and welcomed diversity.
