Multiple Sclerosis
This week's we speak with Kathy about her ongoing battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Multiple sclerosis, or MS, is a long-lasting disease that can affect your brain, spinal cord, and the optic nerves in your eyes. It can cause problems with vision, balance, muscle control, and other basic body functions.
Kathy Reagan Young dealt with the shock of a Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis in the only way she knows how – head on and with an attitude. She started a website to help others with MS learn from her experience and named it – boldly – FUMSnow.com. In addition to her blog posts, she also has a podcast where she interviews various experts in the field of MS, she’s written a book, and now, she has set her sights on helping people across all chronic condition communities to find flexible employment situations that can work with the demands of their disease as opposed to in spite of it. Her upcoming course is called “Patients Getting Paid” and she’s here to tell us about everything she’s got going on. .
